The first single “Joy” was released 8th June 2018 and like the title it’s a joyful, upbeat tempo love song that had the crowd singing along despite hearing it for the first at the EP launch the night before its release in Braamfontein.

“We are very excited about the project, the turn out for the launch in Braamfontein was great so we can’t wait to launch in different cities around SA”. – Brian Mkhabela (Business Partner and Manager)

‘Una Rams’ is a shortened version of both his first and last name ‘Unarine Rambani’. He was born and raised in Venda in Northern Limpopo to a Christian family of 6 children. As a child ‘Una Rams’ grew up in a church founded by his parents and as part of the worship team where he learned how to produce music, play the drums and a piano and later became a musician. His sound is a mesh of different genres of music coupled with his lyrics that evoke emotions to the listener.

‘Wavy Baby is a love story about a boy and a mermaid. And I know it’s the craziest thing to say to anyone but it’s because a lot of people get into relationships when they are both from 2 different worlds, things fall through the cracks because you don’t understand each well enough, so this EP takes you through the different stages of the relationship and unfortunately it’s not a happy ending’. – Una Rams
