Anerah Yasole Biography

Born and raised in South Africa, Bonga Ncube a.k.a Anerah Yasole is one of the hottest talents to come out of the Nelspruit house music scene. The self taught dj/producer grew up being a playstation and sports enthusiast. He started listening to house music in the year 2000 after it was introduced to him by his late brother but his father has always been his biggest musical influence. Through the years his passion for dance music grew him more to the percussive side of the beat drawing inspiration from ‘Osunlade, Masters At Work, Ame, Culoe de Song’ but mostly ‘Black Coffee’ after he read an article on his album in 2005 “to have such a well produced album with just a pc and a mouse just explains he is a genius” he explains.

In 2013 ‘Anerah Yasole’ made a pleasant start as a producer releasing his debut EP ‘Identification’ on ‘Offering Recording’, a Belgian record label ran by ancestral honcho ‘Boddhi Satva’ which featured German house legend ‘Lars Beherenroth’. Going back and forth for years juggling school and music, Anerah quit school after a car accident and teamed up with friends to start ‘Music Garden’ which would the biggest social picnic in Nelspruit. Getting back to music In 2017, he released his second EP with Offering Recordings titled ‘Alexithymia’ which featured a remix by Mozambican ‘Freddy Da Stupid’. Two of the songs that stood out from the project were Buisson Ardent and A leap featuring the talented ‘Gomolemo’. The songs went on to be featured on a number of compilations including ‘Ibiza Diary by Voltaire Music’. The EP was supported by many deep house icons including ‘Rampa’.

Gaining international recognition later that year he released a project with ‘Aluku Rebels’ from the UK titled ‘Crossroads’. February 2018 Anerah released his first single ‘Mistari (MoBlack Remix)’ with ‘MoBlack Records’ from Italy. Charted over 17 times on traxsource and with instagram posts from ‘Black Coffee’  in South Africa, ‘Dj Angelo’ in Greece and ‘Olderic’ in Italy, Mistari is an introduction to Anerah Yasole’s afro infused electronic sound and more is yet to come from the amazing talent who is set to take on the world.
